Group photography can last from 5 minutes to all day. When I received the call to photograph a C5A crew I asked what time of day the shot would be taken. The Colonel said 09:00. This photograph was taken at Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma. I am familiar with Altus and know the planes are parked facing the west. I informed the Col. the plane would need to face the east for morning photography. He told me he had to call the General and he would call back within 10 minutes. Three minutes later the phone rang and the Col. told me the plane would be turned and ready. Details are everything in creating great photography.
